«CMtec» EXCLUSVE TECHNOLOGY

Today, more than eighty years after its first pump went into service, Pollard Pumps has built its reputation for reliability and performance on its unique design. Pumps equipped with CMtec technology are positive displacement and self-priming.

Unlike the majority of competition vane pumps, the CMtec stator is not cylindrical but is machined to a specific design, allowing the use of monobloc vanes.

There are three types of CMtec pumps :

  1. Single direction : the single direction of rotation is set at the factory according to the customer’s request,
  2. Reversible : when the direction of rotation of the pump is reversed, the direction of the pumped fluid changes,
  3. Reverse Plus System : when the direction of rotation of the pump is reversed, the direction of the pumped fluid remains unchanged.

The Reverse Plus System is made possible by the 180° rotation of the stator. This rotation is automatic, without any additional mechanical system. It is the fluid being pumped that drives the stator :
